Here you are single again and ready to re-enter the big scary world of dating, and like most everyone, you bring along "baggage". We all have it; some more than others, however, now is the time to analyze the necessity of that baggage in your new life. No one is exempt. You may have childhood angst over paternal divorce, conflicts with friends and family, or remorse over missteps and lost opportunities.

Love Story is, best phrased, a well-assorted ‘house of mirrors and illusions’. The characterization is poor, the character development is fantastic; the prose is slack and often, painful, but it succors to a surging climactic efflorescence; the dialogues are unconventional, but concomitantly, unconventionally good; the climax is actually an anti-climax, is grotesquely saddening, heart-rending, and all of it is damningly intelligently plotted.

Don’t pry into this. Some women keep asking their man whether or not he is attracted to other women. A man who doesn’t look at anyone, or feel anything for them is either very old, very tired or lying. There is nothing wrong for a man to look at and admire other women, as long as he does it discretely, and not make a show of it before others or before you - as long as he doesn’t use it to make you insecure or competitive with the other women.

Turning up in a relationship means that you arrive in the relationship un encumbered with ex partners, parents, children, health problems, fear, psychological problems, sleep disorders and fantasies of meeting someone who is going to solve your life long sadness.

It's vital to consider whether or not you're ready to move on and experience things with somebody new. If part of you is still longing for the person you once had a relationship with, then there's a good chance that you're still on the rebound. In my opinion, there are two stages of rebound. The first stage is an unhealthy stage because it's when you're still hurting from a breakup. You're willing to jump into any relationship just to stop the pain. The second stage seems a bit more healthy, it's when you're no longer depressed and get inspired by people flirting with you. At this point you're ready to rebound from your lost relationship, instead of being a victim of bad decision rebound syndrome.

If you have been going through a bad turn in any area of your life, don't let it hold you down. If your love life has been battered or shattered, don't let it get you depressed.

Simply move on with your life. I know it's easier said than done, but you just need to move on, and refuse to allow the bad experience to disrupt your life.

Are you really over your past?

I know, you're probably thinking it's a misprint? You may be thinking "Don't you mean past love?" Sometimes, I find we identify our past with our past loves. Our life may have included something that was special that we may be feeling is missing now. Somehow that gets wrapped up in our emotions with our past love. So, instead of trying to find new ways to make our life more complete, we think we need to have our past love to feel complete. Make sure you identify your real sources of desire before beginning a new relationship.

This might be some of the reasons why you stay single, whatever it is you do your own thing, but bear in mind you can make things new and savor the feelings of being in love and to be loved by someone special. Let me ask you, do you want to be single through out your life? Or not? The answer lies within you.
